Introduction of Trade Term on Shipment When You Buy or Import Glass Bottle!
Trade terms, also known as price terms, are produced in long-term international trade practice. They are used to express the composition of transaction price and delivery conditions, and determine the division of risks, responsibilities and expenses between the buyer and the seller.
The roles it plays are as below:
1. It is helpful for the buyer and the seller to negotiate transactions and conclude contracts. Since each trade term has a unified interpretation of the obligations of the buyer and the seller, it is helpful for the buyer and the seller to clarify their respective rights and obligations and conclude a deal as soon as possible.
2. It is helpful for the buyer and the seller to calculate the price and cost. Various trade terms clearly define who should bear the costs, freight and insurance. It is easier for the buyer and the seller to calculate the price and cost.
3. It is conducive to the settlement of disputes in the performance of the contract. Since trade terms are interpreted by relevant international practices, disputes between the buyer and the seller in the transaction can be interpreted through international trade practices.
