Borosilicate glassware
Borosilicate glassware
Glassware is people's daily life necessities, beautifying people's life decorations. Its characteristics are high transparency, bright color, rich luster, thermal stability, chemical stability, and high mechanical strength. Heating-resist glass cookware must have a high degree of thermal stability and mechanical strength. The glass used in cookware glass are mainly borosilicate glass, aluminosilicate glass and microcrystalline glass, and borosilicate glass has been more widely used. Borosilicate heat-resistant glassware mainly refers to the borosilicate glass with linear thermal expansion coefficient (20℃~300℃) of (3.2 ~ 4.2) × 10-6k-1 as the raw material producing glass products.
Borosilicate glass has excellent thermal properties due to its high content of B2O3and SiO2. For example, the coefficient of thermal expansion is generally less than 4.2× 10-6k-1, while ordinary soda-ca silicon glass is approximately (9 ~ 10) × 10-6k-1. Borosilicate glass is known as hard glass for its high impact resistance. Glassware made of borosilicate glass can be widely used in cooking utensils, glass boiling pots, coffee machine glasses, coffee pot, refrigerator bottles, microwave appliances, etc. In addition to cooking utensils, but also it can be used in the electric stove panel, microwave heater roof and other kitchen heating components.
