Introdction for Two Metods to Get Matte Glass Bottle!
Matte glass bottle give people a noble sense to meet packaging requirements. Generally, there are two ways to get the matte glass jar. They are acid frosting and sand blasting. Both frosting and sand blasting are the process of making smooth objects on the glass surface not smooth, so that the light forms a relatively uniform diffuse scattering. The resolution mainly depends on hand touch. The hand feeling of frosting is relatively smooth, and the rough hand feeling is sand blasting. It is difficult for man to distinguish between the two processes. The following describes the manufacturing methods of the two processes and how to identify them.
Chemical frosting refers to immersing the glass in a prepared acidic liquid (or applying an acidic paste) and eroding the glass surface with strong acid. At the same time, the hydrogen ammonia fluoride in the strong acid solution makes the glass surface form crystals. Therefore, if the frosting process is well done, the frosted glass surface is extremely smooth. If the surface is rough, it indicates that the acid corrodes the glass seriously, which belongs to the immature craftsmanship of the sanding master.
Sand blasting process is to hit the glass surface with the sand shot by the spray gun at high speed, so that the glass forms a fine concave convex surface, so as to achieve the effect of scattering light and form a hazy feeling when the light passes through. The surface feel of glass products with sand blasting process is relatively rough, the originally transparent glass bottle looks like white glass bottle.
The two processes are completely different. The acid frosting process is difficult. Frosted glass bottle is more expensive than sandblasted one. From the perspective of noble pursuit, chemical frosting should be selected.
